FLUSHING, Mich - The All-New F-650/F-750 Join America's Best-Selling Commercial Truck Lineup serving as Ford's medium-duty anchors. The F-650/F-740 are raising medium-duty truck standards, joining the lineup as the toughest, best value, work-ready trucks of their kind. Ford engineers worked hard to develop a vehicle for those hard-working customers that is cost-effective, ready for work and will keep them going on the job.

The 2016 F-650 and F-750 models will be going on sale in spring 2015. Three cab styles - Regular Cab, SuperCab and CrewCab - and three models - straight frame, dock height and an all-new dedicated tractor model for heavy towing - will be available. The new F-650/F-750 have a powerful and efficient second-generation 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 diesel engine accompanied by a host of special features that you won't find on any other medium-duty truck. These trucks are now providing customers with another level of advanced capabilities, quality and convenience. Ford has even created a segment-exclusive gasoline and diesel engine for the truck. They are the only medium-duty truck manufacturer that has designed their own diesel engine and transmission combination. This is a HUGE advantage for Ford to optimize performances across their entire commercial truck lineup.

These new trucks are fully loaded with SYNC® and Crew Chief™factory-installed fleet management telematics, available rapid-cab heater that heats the cab quickly in cold climates, and a remote start. The steering wheel has also taken a turn (pun intended) in a more technical direction with advanced controls to help the driver's road concentration. It was important for these models to have a variety of additional design and feature elements that the mainstream products have to improve the overall ride and steering of the truck.
