Ford Fun Announces William Clay Ford Scholarships
FLUSHING, Mich - Ford Fund Announces William Clay Ford Scholarships, which are a total of $1 million in automotive design scholarships that will honor the legacy of the late William Clay Ford, former chairman of Ford Motor Company's design committee. Over the next 20 years, the Ford Fund will give five automotive design students $10,000 in scholarship money per year.

Thanks to Mr. Ford's passion, he was instrumental in developing the direction of Ford's design process. It was his creative vision that transformed the way of Ford vehicle designs. One of the greatest cars ever built, the Continental Mark II, was the work of Mr. Ford and a team of Ford engineers and designers. This scholarship is a way to recognize Mr. Ford's legacy and support the future generation of innovative automotive designers. The grant will be paid at a rate of of $50,000 throughout the next 20 years and will be awarded to exceptional college sophomores or juniors who are pursuing a degree in automotive design. More information and details of the William Clay Ford scholarship program will be announced in the up-coming months.
