The E-Series cutaway vans and stripped chassis will still be built at the Ohio Assembly Plant, while the cargo and passenger van production will stop later this year. Adding the production of the 2016 F-650/F-750 medium-duty trucks to the Ohio Assembly Plant will help create more job security for the workers at the Ohio facility as well as allow Ford to utilize the expertise that they have in-house. This will give customers the ability to purchase a better product at a competitive price. After Ford Moves the 2016 F-650/F-750 Production from Mexico to Ohio early next year, we can expect to see the medium-duty trucks on sale by spring of 2015.
